First Shot - Canon Powershot G6

Hello World!

This is my first attempt at a photoblog using my recently bought 2nd hand Canon G6.

I was deciding what to shoot to post as my first photo when my sister came into the room and past me my dinner. So I thought why not shoot a close-up of my dinner and have a go at the close-up function of the G6.

So here's the shot of my "Yong Tau Foo". It's a mixture of different pieces of food (e.g., bean-curd, vegetables, fish-cake, etc) which you could select to go with some noodles, served either dry (no soup but usually mixed with chilli and sweet sauce) or with soup. I had mine with soup.

Anyway, talking about food, here's a philosophical thought - just as the body needs food to sustain it, likewise the soul needs "food" to nourish it and so photography...

I hope in the days to come I can take and share photos that can feed the soul.
