I just shared with my students during yesterday’s life-skills lesson that sometimes the only way for one to really know oneself well is when we each come face-to-face with a personal crisis, one that brings us to the end of ourselves.
At such moments, the pain of such a shattering crisis becomes like a shrill loud alarm going off, waking us up from our slumbering stupor, forcing us to really see the truth of who we really are deep down within.
When that happens, the germination of a seed buried deep within begins and the time now has come for personal growth.
Welcome crises as friends; welcome them as truth alarms.

Beautiful conceptual image. I loved the narration along with the image.
It is true if crisis are seen as call of awakening it has tremendous energy to transform out lives. Crisis give the opprtunity to realise the worth of oneself.

@JV: hi JV, yep we should not "waste" our moments of crises but rather use them as means to make us grow, be stronger, wiser and better people.

Another great shot! I love the green and red together. I like the fact that both clock hands are on 12. It’s a start of something new, something bright and happy.
I agree, these crisis situations are there to move you forward in life, to change you, or to teach you something. You can either learn and change willingly on your own or be pushed and bullied. Either way you will learn and grow.
Great blog ones again!

@alla: yeah i did set the hour, minute and alarm hands to 12 for an effect! :)
you are sharp! good thoughts there about something new to come when the alaram goes off... while crises aren't pleasant experiences they are nonetheless positive and can lead to something new and even bright and happy :)
yes, we can always learn something when facing crises and you are right it's either we do so willingly or be "forced" into it...
tks for your sharing your thoughts!
