Life – Bright Colourful Lights Within

Wow! Just want to start off by saying a big thank you to everyone who has dropped by my photoblog, for sharing your thoughts and giving such kind wonderful encouraging comments! Bless you all! :)

I'll do my best to reply back to all as soon as I can. Do come by and check out my response later when you can and if you like to. :)

Anyway, yesterday, I was reflecting on how some people’s cheerful disposition can rub onto us and we in turn reflect this onto others.

But wouldn’t it be great if we have those bright colourful lights within ourselves?

Then we do not need to be always dependent on other cheerful people to reflect those cheerful bright colourful lights onto others.

And then we can share our own bright lights of colour with others and make this world a better place!

Not easy to do I know. And we do have things in us that can hinder the full strength of the light coming through, just like in the shot above. But let’s just try, one small step at a time. A small flicker of light here and a small flicker there. Removing one blockage at one corner and another else where; slowly working at firing up and shining forth those bright colourful lights within!

sometimes it's the thoughts first but sometimes it's the other way round as in the picture elicit the thoughts... this is good because sometimes you are at a lost for ideas or thoughts but just by shooting and seeing the results can spark off thoughts too!

actually i used different colourful ligths from those of yesterday's shot...
used 3 smaller colour-filtered torch lights ofr this shot :)

initially i thought they were separate bulbs of light, but on closer look it seems like u took them through a frame, like the back of a chair of some sort. very nice framing, and cool colours. Nice improvisation!

it's actually a black plastic filing tray with 3 small colour-filtered tourch lights inside shing out - used a shallow dof and focused on the tray to get the lights to blur into a soft glow :)

for the shot, i placed 3 small colour-filtered torch lights inside a filing tray with holes by it side and shot it from the outside. I used a shallow dof and focus on the front of the tray to throw the lights at the back into a blur. That's it! :)
