Life – Dim The Inner Blue Light

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 26 May 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

Blue happens to be one of my favourite colours. :)

This shot of the inner blue light shining out from within is reflective of the inner me that needs to now take time to reel back and relax. After all it’s the start of the weekends! It’s Saturday!

I’m thankful for weekends! Why? Because, I get to

…sleep in late.
...wake up late.
…take my time with things leisurely.

:)

The non-aligned state of the blue dots in this shot reminds me of the fact that in life we would have issues that are not in order. Things seem to be in a mess and disorganized. Apparent disharmony.

I say apparent because sometimes even in the midst of what might seem to be a disharmonious state, you can still find a sense of harmony, a sense of serenity…if we would just dim down.

Why dim down? Because if I had the lights at full intensity for this shot, the dots would have become too bright and they would become washed out! Then this picture would then no longer look as serene but even harsh! Intense!

I guess in a way in life that is the case too. You can’t always be at full intensity all the time. You’ll end up with a wash-out.

It’s time to dim the inner blue light.

Have a good weekend!
