Life – Wheel of Lights

Allyy asked where I took yesterday’s shot. It was actually taken at this carnival shown here in the shot above. This is rather unique in that it has quite a few different types of ride. Currently, the fair is located at the empty field next to Bishan Bus Terminal, diagonally opposite ITE Bishan Campus.
So for those living in Singapore, you might like to visit it, take some shots and have some fun! It will be there till 1 Jul.
Looking at the rotating lights in this shot reminds me of how things can sometimes end up going in circles in our individual lives. While riding this ferris-wheel can be fun but to go on and on and on in circles isn’t exactly progress, is it? It’s like the proverbial hamster running inside the wheel. No matter how fast or slow you run, you’ll always remain at the same spot. Don’t we all have some situations or issues like that in our lives?
So just like those riding the ferris-wheel, at some point we must stop and get out. There’s a whole world out there to explore and experience. Don’t get stuck inside the wheel of lights, going nowhere, having no progress. Take that step of faith and move out to other lights else where.
