Life – Water Blue

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 1 July 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

Today I will begin a new series about Life which will focus on Water.

Why? Well, just as Light is important for sustaining Life, so it is with Water too.

And being a Sunday which is a day of rest, I’ve decided to post this shot as I think the blue does make it look more subdued giving a feeling of relaxation.

But what strikes me is that water takes up a large proportion of the earth and also out bodies. One can go without food for days but one can’t survive for long without water.

Just as we need water to sustain out lives, so also we need to ask ourselves if we are watering our minds to help it grow.

When was the last time you read a good book or had a deep stimulating conversation that irrigated your mind and flooded you soul?

Maybe this Sunday would be a good opportunity to do just that! :)

Have a wet Sunday!
