Life – Colourful Water Droplets

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 24 July 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

Have you ever seen how water can bring fun and joy to people? I remember a long time ago I was in Thailand and the Songkrang Festival was on. People basically pour or spray water on each other. I think it has to do with something like blessing you with water. But boy was it fun! Getting others wet and getting wet in return! Some would splash you with scoops or buckets, while some would use high-tech super soaker guns and others would resort to blasting you with hoses. The ultimate soaker came when the town’s fire engine used it’s water guns to spray at the people lined along the road to watch the parade!

Everyone had fun and it was a colourful time indeed.

So this shot of colourful water droplets on colourful clothes-pegs brings back memories of fun with water. Haven’t we all had fun with water sometime in our lives? Noticed how it refreshes us?

In the same way in life we need people to “shower” us with “colourful water droplets” to brighten and refresh our lives and in the same way we too can “spray colourful water droplets” to refresh others.

May the rest of your week be filled with colourful water droplets!
