Life – Water Control Gates

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 7 August 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Thank you to all who came by for a visit yesterday and for sharing your thoughts. They have enriched me. Thank you.

This is another shot of the little hut like structure that was featured in yesterday’s shot but taken from a different angle.

If I remember correctly within this structure there are water control gates that one can turn to control the level of water in the reservoir.

Using these water control gates wisely is important because if you fail to open them when the water level is rising rapidly, you will get flooding. But if you open them when water level isn’t rising, you drain away precious water.

I guess in life we need to handle the gates of our lives wisely too, knowing when to open up and when to keep them shut.

May you exercise much wisdom in the use of your gates of life.
