Life – Sunrise Over The Waters

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 13 August 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Last week I posted shots form the MacRitchie Reservoir in Singapore.

For this week I will be posting shots from the Punggol Park in Singapore.

I first got to know about this place from an AM3 p-blogger Tyan when she posted a shot of the place.

It’s Monday. Start of another work week.

This shot shows the sunrise over the waters of the small lake at Punggol Park.

I suppose what makes this shot arresting is the contrast between the various colours of blue, orange and black. What also makes it interesting is the dark silhouette of the branches in the foreground which contrast with the brighter background.

I guess in life too, contrasts make it more interesting. Imagine if everything were exactly the same, life would be so boring.

Have an interestingly contrasting week ahead!
