Life – Morning Sun Shine Over The Waters

Here’s a shot of the morning sun over the waters of the small lake at Punggol Park from another perspective.
A question came to my mind as I looked at this shot – what if one day the sun doesn’t rise at all or worse still what if one day the sun no longer shines as we expect it too everyday? What then?
Many a times it’s very easy for us to take things for granted because things are as per usual. And when we take things for granted, it’s very easy in a busy state of life to gloss over these things and postpone attending to these things till another day when we are more free.
But if they are important to life shouldn’t we attend to them on a regular basis or even every day?
Maybe we should try to watch more sun rises to remind us that as a new day begins, we ought to also remember to attend to what is important to our lives like health, family, close friends, peace, justice, kindness, joy, love…
