Life – Hiding Place In The Water

No this isn’t a huge onion in the water although it looks like one doesn’t it? :)

It’s actually another water snail different from the other two I had posted previously.

As I look at this shot, it gives me a feeling that this snail has found a hiding place in the water of the small lake at Punggol Park.

We all need such hiding place to retreat ourselves to when we face hard times in life. At such a hiding place we can pour our hearts of the frustrating, exhausting, discouraging, disappointing, depressing times in out life… it’s also a place for tears to flow…

I have a few hiding places I like to go when I need to be alone, like my room for one and the other would be the oldest cathedral in Singapore, the St Andrew’s Cathedral. Surprisingly even though it’s within the civic and business area of Singapore, it’s a very quiet within just perfect for quieting the troubled soul. Sure it’s open to the public, tourists and the occasional groups of students but its generally quiet almost all the time.

So where is your hiding place or places?
