Yesterday, I posted a shot of some HDB blocks over looking the small lake of Punggol Park.
As promised here is a wider shot showing part of those blocks as well as the steeple of a church on the left and a convent school in the middle.
I remember that morning when I was there I could hear the singing from that church from where I was! They certainly had a powerful public address system!
But you know sometimes it’s not the loudness that determines if we have heard someone or not. What is more important is learning to hear with your heart, to hear beyond the sound, beyond the volume to what is being really communicated.
That’s not an easy task. But it can be done if we try.
May we hear beyond the sounds and the volume.
