I like today's shot, as much as yesterday’s, because both capture the moments of peace and tranquillity where you can be by yourself to think and not be influenced by the crowd.
I guess in life we sometimes need to make time to move away from what is accepted by the majority so that we do not easily fall prey to the power of the horde mentality which can sometimes blind you to the truth.
Anyway, three days ago I posted a shot in remembrance of 9-11. There I noted a movement called the 911 Truth Movement where many are now questioning what really happened on 9-11 and who was ultimately responsible. Here is their official website.
And here is a website with independently produced documentaries which you can watch for yourself as they present evidence that would make you think twice about 9-11 and to question who is really responsible for the deaths of thousands on that fateful day. You may want to first start with “911 In Plane Site Director’s Cut” and then “911 Mysteries Part 1 Demolitions”.
Have a thoughtful Friday!

It's a nice capture, good moment but... be careful when you post process. I thing the vignetting effect is a little bit too strong, the character gets swollen by it and the composition suffers a little also. As for the colours, all three primary colours are quite saturated, as a result they are in conflict and you don't know exactly where to look. Red over blue works well because blue colour always seems more distant than red colour. I guess maybe it's the that sand shouldn't be as saturated in this one.

kairospix, my comments on today's picture don't take into account the 9-11 context you've been posting about.

I like the image here but it seems a little too heavy on the post processing... but, this is photography and photography is art and art is personal so.... that past few have had that same affect and not sure what you are going for, but, I still appreciate them.
Cheers,
Rob

Your rich colors are devine! Thank you for the idea of Japanese tea ceremony bowls. I had no idea there was such an event and that even the study of the tea ceremony takes many years and often lasts a lifetime. I can only hope to make such a set honorable enough for this kind of practice.

I like the intense colouring to this one, kairo. I think it goes really well with your call to us to look deeper into things, a call I very much appreciate. Thank you again, dear friend, for this, another superb piece. Thank you too for your very kind words at my blog today. You are a real blessing to all of us, including me! :)
ps : My apologies for the very late visit this time. It has been a particularly long day today! Blessings to you, dear friend. :)

i love this one. what do you do get the darker edges? was that done in post processing? or is that an effect of vignetting due to wide angle? thanks.
