Life – Big Ship Amongst Small Boats In the Water

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 28 September 2007 in Transportation and Portfolio.

I’m sure we’ve heard the phrase “small fish amongst big fishes in the sea”. Well here’s a shot the sort of reverses it – it’s “Big ship amongst small boats in the water”.

And boy is that ship big! It would literally take hundreds of those small boats to fill that ship, a far cry from how much those small boats can carry!

Yet, while the ship can take on more cargo, it’s certainly much slower than a small boat. The small boat can turn faster with a smaller angle in mere minutes the ship will require a bigger angle and longer time to turn.

I guess that is how it is with people in life too. Each individual has his or her own strengths and weaknesses. We need to appreciate that and work at complementing rather than competing

Not easy but we can certainly try. :)
