Life – Raven Arrow On Water

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 30 September 2007 in Transportation.

This is a shot of Raven Arrow on water. Raven Arrow – that’s the name of this ship. I had to magnify the shot to read the name painted at the front end of the ship. It belongs to a company named GearBulk.

All very interesting names!

I suppose looking at the ship in a way it does like an arrow piercing the waters and since it’s black why not call it Raven Arrow. And GearBulk? Must be because the ship looks like one that’s designed to carry bulky stuff.

Names then do serve a purpose – to reflect the purpose of the thing being named.

And names can also give something a sense of life and make it come alive. I like how a very talented and creative fellow AM3 p-blogger, Rabbit, names her pottery pieces that she makes – it gives them a sense of being alive! Check out her p-blog here.

So what does your name mean? Can you see the purpose behind it? :)

Sometimes in life it’s good to remember your name and the meaning behind it – it can give you a sense of purpose and direction in life.

Be alive! Live your name!
