Life – Cleaning Up By The Water (Clean Up Day)

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 7 October 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

I thought I would end a week of special days with this shot of this guy involved with a group of people cleaning up the beach by the water.

When you think about it, the only species that leaves behind tonnes of rubbish and pollution is really us human beings. I don’t remember any other animal species actually doing so.

So if the earth’s environment gets bad, guess who’s to blame?

There is a lesson for our lives too. Even as we need to clean up the rubbish and pollution on earth to ensure a healthy earth, in the same way we need to also clear the “rubbish and pollution” in our bodies and our minds to lead healthy lives.

At the end of the day it is really all up to us.

Make today a Clean Up Day!
