Life – Bottled Sea Water, Anyone?

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 10 October 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Today’s shot shows a bottle with sea water inside it. Then I thought would any one in the world buy bottled sea water?

We have bottled spring water so why not bottled sea water. Hmm.

I guess it really depends on whether people see bottled sea water as any use and if it’s easily accessible. In economic terms it’s the demand and the supply.

If there is a demand and the supply is scarce then of course economically bottled sea water becomes valuable and people will pay to buy it. Otherwise it’s worth not much.

I guess in life it’s the same too. When things come by too easily then we tend to treat it nonchalantly and not value it. But when things do not come by easily then it becomes precious and valued. Ah the psychology of value...

Anyway does anyone want a bottle of sea water? You do? Well just go to the beach and you get plenty...for free. :)
