Life – Talking To His Rod By The Water

Posted by kairospix (Singapore, Singapore) on 17 October 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Here is a shot that looks as if the boy is talking to his rod by the water. Maybe he was discussing fishing strategies with his rod?

We humans are an interesting species as we all at one time or other do talk to inanimate objects even though we know it can’t hear us nor respond to us.

I think when we do this we are simply verbalising our thoughts out loud and sometimes that can be really helpful and even therapeutic. Somehow by talking out loud it’s like having a cathartic release and helping you to sort out your thoughts.

Maybe it’s time to have a chat with your inanimate friend? :)
