This shot of a cyclist swooshing by reminds me how sometimes in life we tend to rush.
Someone once said if we rush too much we may just end up becoming a Rush-sian!
But what are we rushing for? Will rushing make life better? More meaningful?
What do you think?

I love the symbolism in this photo. Like a tree through time is life, we are just flashing by without appreciating what is always grounded.

Very cool! Great description. Singaporeans are known for their Kiasu-ness right? Hahah. Anyway, love the background. So dreamy.

Great shot. Great thoughts too. What are we rushing for? To live life as quickly as possible and...?

Rush-sian :)
Of course not better, it's just an illusion - if I rush now, if I finish all these things, then I can have it all! But it never happens. You finish one thing, there are 100 more waiting and the race never stops. Ones someone told me, that old people never rush, because they know where they are rushing to.

That depends on why someone is rushing. If someone is rushing over to help someone whom is about to fall or just tripped & fell then i feel its ok to rush. If you are rushing thru most things in life just to get them done, this is not ok. Life is to be enjoyed even the parts we may feel we want to rush thru, like work. But if we take the time to get the job done right- it should prove to be less work in the end.
One should only rush when necessary ;)

Ooooo, I really like this one K!! The light falling through the tree in the background is incredible and with the "ghost" image in the foreground this just becomes surreal.

WOW. Truly STUNNING image, dear friend!! And sobering narrative too. Thank you. I really like Rabbit's words here. I think she's said it exactly right!
